Hi I posted on the site a while ago enquiring about cable sizing for a new supply at a farm house we have, the supply from western power comes into the meter box situated in an outbuilding and then we have a 25 m run of armoured cable to the consumer unit in the house. We want to connect the cable up at the meter end but we don't have a lot of space in the box, the electrician we have is scratching his head at the moment and says that he would welcome any second opinions. The small enclosure that we have in there is for the power to a sewage treatment tank that we have on site. The cable that is hanging out to the left is the temp supply to the house that we are using at the moment.
Many thanks

Western power installed a new supply cable that went into the meter box last year. We told them that it would be supplying the annexe that the box is attached to and then the new farm house as well. They said that was fine and that we would just need to branch off from the meter. We then had the sewage treatment tank installed and now we need somewhere for the house supply to be connected but as you can see we are limited for space.

Looking at the standard of the wiring in that pic makes me wonder what the rest is like!!!. The T&E's hanging off the tails in the block look like an accident waiting to happen.
To the OP I would suggest getting a proper spark in rather than the have a go DIYer that this wiring suggests

And me what a shambles
Pretty obvious to fit another meter cab butted up and place all consumer switchgear in there
