Meter question

Hi, I don't know if this is the right forum but I was wondering if anyone could help, I'm trying to find if our meter (S209K) does any sort of Automated Meter Reading and if so what kind?

I assume your confused by you bill saying actual reading when you havent had the meter-man knock on the door, to answer your question, yes this is a meter that can checked by a reading machine when he passes your house, usually radio waves and as i may be corrected here but i think the round disc on the front acts as its aeriel.
