Meter tails

leccy board have just been round, replaced meter and upgraded main fuse to 100A and said nothing to customer, not only have i rarely seen main tails so small there is not one earth cable of any description anywhere, loop reading as sockets were astronomical.
reconnecting supply to those can't be right can it???

VIR tails

Round my way WPD wont reconnect them they just tell the customer to ring an electrician.

oh my god i come accross this . i told costomer the tails to small then leccy board had to replace the meter costomer told them the just said yes they are.
and that was it the just switched on and left.

Seems strange they didnt PME it ! who upgraded the cutout fuse ? not down to meter recert and jointer would PME it anyway although its not down to the DNO to supply an earth if it was me id be changing them tails for a quick £25 when i was doing them ! that said all they have to do is leave it as found but give customer an xy letter normally !
