Hi Guys

Anyone had any experience with the metrel mi3155 looking at changing my old fluke 1654b that ive had for a while. It seems to tick a lot of boxes and i basically want to future proof myself, ive watched a few vids of it online but none in English , so wanted to get some real world feedback like Zs test times with no noise on the circuit, battery life, ease of use, accessories, dealer support, calibration costs etc. cheers

My last place we had a few MI3000 and they were very good, a few little quirks but nothing serious.

I know the warranty was very good with them but we never had any need to use it so can't comment on that.

Normally in telecoms we get a fair bit of noise from rectifiers etc and the Flukes always used to play up with it, but both Megger and Metrel were fine.

I'm seriously considering Metrel as my next test meter when my Megger finally dies.

Thanks for the reply, that's encouraging. To tell the truth I'm just a little bored of the fluke and I've had plenty of meggers before, we have 2 or three 1553 on the company and a few 1741, want to mix it up a bit plus i like the surge protection testing feature of the metrels which i can see becoming a standard test in the future.
