can anyone advise if they know of a calibration service cheaper than this... Megger 1552, on site visit , calibrattion cost ÂŁ57.50.so no shipping costs and no waiting. as it's on site, i think that's a good deal

this guy advertises fully traceable certs. think i''ll go with it as to post would cost at least ÂŁ10 each way

I have no connection with JW Instruments, other than i get landlord meters and seals from him. The Cal Certs are fully traceable. He is a good honest guy, and a dealer for Metrel i think amongst others as well.

I have a connection to him, he is a very good friend indeed and as SirKit says he is a top bloke and knows his stuff.

This is a link to his web sites; here and here

I know its an old thread, but I just wanted to say thanks to all on this fine forum, I'm sending my old fluke 1651 to them today.
Regards, David

JW Instruments,

Do not under any circumstances use these people, i made the mistake of posting my tester to them and almost 2 weeks on, i haven't got it back yet, i have lost quite a bit of work because of them, and every time i call to chase, i get fobbed off and they don't ever seem to be able to tell me when i will get my tester back.

Avoid at all costs!
