can someone advise where I can establish the CSA of the sheath of MICC please?

Thx in advance..... Lurch

Hi Lurch.

The only answer I can give is that the sheath of a pyro cable is ALWAYS sufficient to be used as the CPC and ALWAYS complies with BS 7671.

As for the actual physical size.....maybe a call to the manufacturer???

Lenny, thanks for response but I kinda new sheath is adequate, but was after a csa to put down on a test sheet. I have an existing supply to a garage . . . . . . any way you know the story. It's funny how the csa of swa is readily available but I have scoured the web but canna find anything for MI.

Any body else out there had this scenario and over come it?

Hiya Guys. While testing in communal blocks I am coming across ST and SH for the cpc size on the circuit charts. Can someone tell me what these represent please
It would be helpful if you told us what the wiring and / or wiring method is. I'm assuming that SH is possibly Sheath and ST is Steel conduit

Ignore the post in #3 it is of no help. Hopefully someone may know but it maybe a longshot, have you asked on a more specific appliances forum?

It could be a slave switch where you would have a L in and a common wire out to a master switch.
