Stare at the red dot for about 30 seconds and glance away at a blank area, (like a wall or ceiling), and blink your eyes. Pretty neat. Explanations?

Your brain is correcting a negative image to positive. I spent 10 years doing fine art photographic printing.
This one still smacks me.
