Aside from their intended use on lighting circuits, a while back it occurred to me that they make quick and simple test adapters.
I wait for various commando plugs to come up cheap on ebay and then do this to them.

My collection now stands at 16A (3,4 and 5 pin) and 32A (3, 4 and 5 pin)
Tonight I started the 63 amp collection.

3 quickwire plugs, one with L-E link, another to a 3 pin trailing socket, and a 3rd with trailing 4mm stackable banana plugs gets the job done without spending £200 on an off-the-shelf adapter.
