Mk consumer units

Hi

Does anyone know how many years the manufacturers warranty is for MK consumer units are as I cant find anything on the internet and one of my customers asked me this question so I said I would check. But not having much luck

I wouldn't think it's long, as they break when you get them out of the box.
they had a 10 year guarantee on the breakers once, not sure how reliable that was.
Just give em a bell, will be quicker

This board has a 12 month warranty, but Screwfix sell an MK 4 way garage CU which has a 10 year warranty. The warranty period should normally be stated on the paperwork supplied with the CU - maybe call your local wholesaler and ask them?

Think 12 months is the standard warranty period given to most accessories and the like these day's!! I doubt if any of the manufacturers will offer 10 years warranty on any RCD devices. Bloody fools if they did!! lol!!

Well i've had a quick look through MK's PDF on that page and can't see any mention of a 10 year warranty, especially on the RCD device!!

Its probably a 10 year warranty on the plastic casing.

It's about 35 years I think, throw it in and by the time you could convince someone it needs changing again this time should have passed.

I'd say 12 months if it doesn't fail any quicker.
Hager stuff is often 2 years.

Ha ha that's because they won't live very long once you leave all those live cables exposed,
With no ip ratings to bathroom lights etc lol!!!!!
