... I'll have you know I'm an upstanding member of my comm ....... oh hang on there might have been one or two times.....

Are we talking 'a week', 'a day', 'a hour'....

Now sending me to sites for fake Asda vouchers. As soon as I opened this site and touched the screen it diverted me to the spam site.

lol it's nothing to do with us matey I assure you. It's as soon as you open your browser and visit any site I'm sure. Problem is you visit this one the most and / or first.

Clean your phone or use a different browser or something.

You have malware on your phone.

I totally believe and accept what you say, it's down to malware. That's not how it is happening though. It's not as I open my browser, it's only when I open this site. This could be mid browsing or first off. I can be looking at another site but it can happen as soon as I switch to this one, either by switching browser window or by navigating to it from an open window.
It has never happened with any other website, even spurious ones ;)

Unfortunately my phone has no app space for me to download any virus software so I guess I'll have to put up with it.

Try typing address -rather than any saved shortcuts .
(I have a phone in a similar state -near full + dead Play store !...
resisting a factory reset ..for all the agro )--Liked it when you could backup -Apps ------for bad upgrade/irritating-bits,
Had a rollback option!

I can't help you any further really matey. There's nowt I can do my end.

Try uninstall and reinstall your web browser from fresh.

Ha, nowt like that on the phone. The phone came with an apps partition and it won't let me use other memory for apps. With every app update bigger and bigger, just the essential apps take up all the room.
Time for a new one really.

Been seeing more of these type of ads popping up when mobile viewing. The problem has stopped as I don't try and scroll before the site has loaded. I believe it was these ads I was clicking on while scrolling. No problems with any other website and no malware on my phone.

It’s not you Andy, I had them on a BRAND NEW iPhone on the first day I got it.

So it must have come with pre installed malware for this site only.

Well I’m no IT expert, far from it but I do know this.

My phone had it from day 1, the same as my previous iPhone. Maybe I infected my phone with my grubby hands.

I don’t get those types of ads on other forums.

Posting a message on this forum does not remove the ads as the site owner suggests.

One of the first options of a trial AVG ,was to delete my internet history CARP ! (Have a newer phone -even that filled up with -Bigged up google services ... )
Allegedly Motorola come with less pre-installed ,bundled rubbish..
(but not what I have)
