Been told by a couple of wholesalers that 50p/w by mid Summer isn't beyond the realms of possibility. I'm buying REC @ 78p at the minute and offering it as our mid range offering. Our cheap offer is 69p/w. Is everyone else getting similar costs???

Can only squeeze product costs so far. As the UK isn't the only customer I could see manufactures just walking away as well. If there's no market in the UK there's no sales.

The likes of Sanyo systems are already drop off the list due solely to cost. We all have our minimum limit.

& Alterngy.

We're installing 2 Sanyo systems in the next couple of weeks. People still seem to be prepared to pay for them at the minute. Of course it will be a different matter come July. Actually it'll be a different matter come April - few of my customers will be able to hit a D rating.

Sanyo is all we have installed since Xmas, oddly enough.

The "I must have the best at any cost" market will soon be gone though.

SolarSaving, what panels are you using at 60p/watt?

I get them from a company in Cambridge that we were doing installs for and they are getting 40' containers direct. I have someone off the forum coming over this morning to pick up some power one's who says he's buying ET 250 mono's from norwich at 60p

Anyone know the panel thickness of the ET modules? Datasheets seem to quote "40/50mm" - I know they're cheap Far-Eastern panels but are the manufacturing tolerances really that sloppy?

Can you source Sanyos at the moment? I'm still struggling to get 32, 250's from a supplier I can trust!

I can get hold of 235s and 240s. I've been promised 250s by Segen which I've had on order for a few weeks - I'm hoping they have allocated them to me. But lets be honest, it would be no real shock if they haven't.
