I have a 54 plate Renault Megane and, apart from NS front and OS Rear electric windows not operating, all other electrics seemed ok...

until yesterday when:
Cigarette Lighter
Air Con
Clock and temp display (although this works if lights are on or radio)
Auto radio off when door opens.

I don't have a wiring diag. but can't believe that even the French would route all through the same fuse.

Any ideas?

The Renault Laguna and Clio are noted for having body control module issues not sure about the Megane but would suggest they are not immune from the problem

Hi dude, without a wiring diagram, and, with an older French vehicle, what's the point...i would start at the beginning...

Go from what works on ignition aux position,if any missing functions are at this, and trace where the power goes...start at battery, then any busbar splits,or heavy fusing, then at fuse board.

Windows will be relayed, maybe A/C too, check feeds to these, there may be control relays, which switch several circuits, check feed TO these.

Any 12V to items not functioning, check earth/grounding,which could be wired and collective.

These galic bitter pills are legendary in the electrical nightmare stakes, and can suck moisture 5 meters up a fairies artery wire, and fill an ECU with bovril...

If you see evidence of corrosion in and on cables/connectors,especially where no such evidence should be...just set fire to it :cheesy:

Lol, you have such a descriptive and accurate turn of phrase.:yesnod:

You need to replace the switch module on driver side . Water gets in and fuzzes everything
