Hi!

I have this old motion sensor which I'd like to use to control an outdoor light. I have no instruction manual or connection diagram for it. Maybe someone here knows how to connect it? Thanks for your help!

That's an alarm device for 12V use only. Note the anti-tamper
microswitch at the top of the photo, which operates when the lid is removed.

This could only be used to control mains lighting if you're a techno-freak like me (and no doubt others on here) who would enjoy pointlessly messing about with separate LV power supplies and relays.

If however, you are a normal person, I suggest you go out and buy a proper mains PIR!

As long as the existing wiring is approved for outdoor use and everything is working as planned then there is no need to replace the wiring.
