Anyone got much experiance in testing motorhomes or caravans? Can I use normal certs? Any other things I should watch out for? Refreshed on the regs for um but thought u guys might have some thoughts

I'm assuming periodic inspection here?

There are a good few special requirements, it might be worth getting a copy of Guidance Note 7 where this topic is explained.

Also 721 in BS7671:2008.

There are no special certification requirements that I can find however scheme providers may require you to use a particular document if you're assessed on periodic inspections, the NICEIC have this: http://www.niceic.com/Uploads/File2011.pdf

Thanks , anyone got a Leisure vehicle accommodation periodic I can down load and use PLEASE!!!

Things to watch out for are the battery chargers, that are often hard wired, fridge same or via an inaccessible connection, and water heater elements. The last one mostly make sure you don't turn it on when the tank is empty.
