when moving a consumer unit and the current cables not been long enough, which methods of extending the cables do you use? i was wondering if through crimping is the preffered method, or getting a pvc adaptable box n using the wago connectors would be possble?

yer I do the same with a small piece of PVC top hat, but the plaster could still get behind it. As I say though, if its heatshrinked I cant see moisture getting in there.

For everyone reading this, because it hasn't been mentioned and probably should have been, all this we are talking about is with some kind of protection like top hat capping or oval conduit (which I personally hate).
