I have to move a circuit from one DB to another but not sure what certificate to issue, not had to do this before, advice please

rob

its a MWC all day long.
the circuit isnt new so a EIC is not required , just 1 leg of it is being re-routed , and its new origin can easily be recorded on a standard minor works.
;-)

Maybe existing, but surely a new circuit to the new DB?
lifted from the iet..

2 Minor works
The complete set of forms for initial inspection and testing may not be appropriate for minor works. When an addition to an electrical installation does not extend to the installation of a new circuit, the minor works form may be used. This form is intended for such work as the addition of a socket-outlet or lighting point to an existing circuit, or for repair or modification

the circuit isnt new , it already exists, simple as.
moving its origin would be a modification as 90% of it is still doing the same job in the same place before you moved it.

No its not a case of responsibility of the circuit at all , its a case of the circuit would need to be retested and a test schedule with just the circuit that has been moved to the other board , just needs to be identifiable in the new board thats all , ,,,

Probably best way forward is a MWC , with a Schedule showing the circuit installed , and the Schedule for the original board showing circuit moved to the other board , unusual one must admit ,,,,
