Question.. If a consumer unit needs moving by 1 metre and all the cables need to be jointed through, is a full EIC needed as if its's a consumer unit replacement? Cheers

If all the cabling has to be extended to the new position I would do an Eic amd treat it as a board swap.

if I could unscrew the board and move it across with perhaps only having to joint one or two cables I would be tempted to do no paperwork and just carry out some live testing on afew accessories
