Leesparkykent, that capping looks like it would be sturdier than the new build! Grinder to cut or quality hacksaw blade?
The top three hacksaw blades in my opinion are Sandvik, Eclipse and Starret.

or reg. 411.3.2.4Depends on the Ra
On new builds with external meter box I've been using this to protect the tails to the CCU. http://www.directchannel.uk.com/cable-management/cable-capping/gs9-tail-cable-protectors http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ii3wAtp3g3U

That's quite good how are you earthing it out of interest and how do you coupling two together and earth connection ?
unless it's proven to be extraneous, then you'd have to bond it. :28:There is no requirement to earth it.

how many tpi on my angle grinder, i ain't got a clue. but it does general, tray, unistrut, girders, and still good to cut a plumber into pieces.
Must be tough stuff never heard of it before . Can see it would be very useful good to know
And a couple other variables (as far as my interpretation of reg 411.5.4), if an ocpd is being used for fault protection.Which would depend on the Ra ;-)
