Agreed whatever people think of him he has done well, obviously a good/ shrewd businessman.

Depends if you live in london and have seen how he runs his business . How about 2 x men to change a simple toilet inlet .The part must be supplied from one of their dealers even though there is a screwfix near. But they take over a hour to get a new inlet of the same brand . Total bill .£470 . Inlet has a flexi attached with a isolator . So its really a 5 min job max. And their guys seem to think its ok to fit a boiler filter on the feed rather than the return etc . The whole business are crooks .

Don't forget that there are alot of very wealthy idiots in London... Charity bosses, BBC executives, Government workers, Civil Servants, Union Bosses, Human Rights Lawyers etc. etc... none of these would bat an eyelid at paying that sort of money.

Tell me about it , I spent about 7-8 years working for an electrical contractor in the Fulham and Chelsea area of London and some of the invoices for fairly simple little jobs were eye watering.
£500 to add an extra socket was not uncommon and this was 20 years ago now.
We did small rewires or 3 storey town houses where the final invoice was in the £50,000 range.
It was like working on a different planet in all honesty
