New here looking for some advice.
I have an old multico bench saw that I'm having problems with as in everytime I switch it on it blows the fuse. When I got the saw it was in a sorry state with exposed wires and such like so I rewired it but still it blows the fuse. I took the motor out and it goes no problem going perfect. But when I put it back in the saw it offers to go for a second then blows the fuse again.
Its a single phase 240v induction motor.
Any help much appreciated.

If you're not an electrician then get someone who is. If you've had a go at it yourself then expect to pay more.

It's the ONLY safe advise I will offer.
