We have the 230v Fein and were working with another sparky who had the 110v one. Although they both do the job fine ours was doing it in half the time.

Lol possibly. If you were to see them side by side and test them you would definitely go for the 230v though. (if you mainly house bash that is...)

I've got the battery version, good kit, but really fancy the new 230v version, 300w motor and tool-less blade change. Dont fancy the price tho....
The big orange shed had them reduced to ÂŁ85 yesterday. Comes with 3 blades, sanding and grouting tool if you feel the urge...

iv'e got the 110v, and must admit, it's slow as ****. takes twice as long as a padsaw in pb, but a nicer cut.

I've got a Bosch version. The blades wear out so quickly if you hit hard stuff and at ÂŁ7 a go it works out expensive to replace. Now I keep a couple of new blades for neat wood cutting and used reworked blades for everything else.
Reworked Blades?

With a small triangular needle file cut 4 large new teeth into the blade. Two teeth angled and cut one one side and the remaining two from other side. Set the teeth slightly with sniped nosed pliers and that's it. They work fine and you can rework blades time and time again.
SAVES MONEY:):):)
