Hi all,

Just installed my first ETN consumer unit (new build house)
Quite a small unit. Took out the din rail & did earths & neutrals first then fitted rail back & did the rest.
Im pleased with it. My only niggle is no grommets came with unit & i was told to fit it as is by team leader.

Did it not come with any covers for those bare bus bar stabbings?

Or is that how CU's come now?

Looks alright to me though.

not bad.next time try fitting it right way up. :21:

Why does my iphone upload pics upside down.

Quick question why does the main switch have 2 neutrals going to the same neutral bar?

If you split a bit of T&E straight down the middle with a knife then you can use the sheath as a grommet strip

Not bad at all for your first CU, well done. (now that the pictures are the correct way around lol).

Its more convenient to have a N in and out to the RCD on the main N bar than 2 into the Main Switch I assume.
If you look closely it looks like there is two N links entering bottom of MS as well as a small busbar with 3rd N link attached?

Welldone Loki looks good mate.
@ Paul you're like the photo adjusting fairy, Not that I'm implying your a fairy :lipsrsealed2:
