Just had it confirmed by Crabtree, yes replacement covers are available for flush fitted consumer units.

Crabtree do not sell any lids or replacement parts for consumer units from mid 90s or early 2000's. This was confirmed by Karen from Crabtree. They do not do any RCBOs either. I did mention that some have been able to do this but the advise given back is that its likely that those who have put compact RCBOs in very old units, are likely to have done other modications which Crabtree can not comment on.

Update: RCBOs installed within current MCU. I managed to find another electrician who was able to do this. Attached picture - final results. Wasn't happy he changed upstairs and downstairs socket breakers into one 'General Sockets' but he only had 6 RCBOs with him and he said sockets don't need to be on seperate breakers. He only sent invoice for the work done so presumably I don't need another EICR as he has done the work to clear the 4 x C2's from my first EICR that was done few months back?[ElectriciansForums.net] RCBO installtion in old MCU following EICR Report

Sockets will probably be ok on one, a little inconvenient in the event of a fault though, I'd probably like a 7th rcbo in. Wonder if hes linked the ends to make it 1 long ring, or put all 4 legs in the rcbo.

You dont need another eicr, but should have recieved an EIC with test readings for the new devices and updated schedule? with detail in the scope of works whats been done so whoever needs to can reference what's been sorted against the eicr.
