Discuss NAPIT bought out Stroma? in the Certification NICEIC, NAPIT, Stroma, BECSA Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

there is no evidence of life on other planets, but who knows?

It still remains that there is no concrete evidence to believe Napit are acquiring Stroma @naylorpd ??? Surely just pure conjecture?
No proof at all - only that NAPIT own some B shares in a Stroma subsidiary, evidenced by the mortgage document. Could be 50%, could be less, unlikely to be more. The name of the Stroma subsidiary implies that it is connected with supplier certification, but OTOH its a very new company. Another possibility is a joint venture rather than a takeover. But all conjecture, no public documents to prove.

so it turns out the rumors are true. Reading something, elsewhere that Stroma members are now being advised to ring NAPIT for any technical advice or anything regarding part P?
The evidence was there. Not remotely surprised to hear this.

Heard that also. Apparently Stroma are ringing members to notify them. Not had my call yet but I'm sure it will take them a while to work through their member list.
All I've had so far is notification of a "strategic renaming" of the electrical installer scheme last week to a new company.

Yeah I read that also...Stroma certification to Stroma installer certification or something along those lines? I wonder if their prices will rise...Surely NAPIT fees will have to be brought inline with Stroma or the other way round.

One would think so with it essentially being the same service.
Stroma used to offer the full scope service for a lot less.

Is this actually confirmed by anyone. I have put a post on Linkedin but no bites yet. The Chief Exec of NAPIT has been tagged though so maybe soon.
I’ve heard it from 2-3 members of Stroma, saying they’ve had calls from Stroma stating this. I haven’t seen anything official yet though.
