Yea was thinking that westward but there was a existing Henley block that was direct under the meter and the tails to the meter are really short. So cant really alter them as that is part of the DNO's side

Could contact the DNO with you intentions, put it all in place and job done.
If you have 2 Db's ,then a main isolator will be needed to supply Db's,this will be the main isolator for both Db's.A kmf would be ok.
I seem to remember that the issue for a singular isolator in a domestic property has been raised before here, and that the recommendation given in Guidance note 2, says something like;
'It is permitted for a dwelling to have more than one electrical installation. Therefore one 'main switch' is not required to isolate all consumer units simultaneously provided the consumer units have an integral main switch'. (from quick google)
This would not be the case perhaps, if the CU's were in different locations within the property.
Perhaps someone could have a quick look in GN2, page 40ish I believe, I haven't got a copy
My th
why not replace the existing board with one big enough to cope with the extra circuits, rather than have 2 boards?
My thoughts exactly!
Mhar in case the fuse does get upgraded to 100amp fuse in the future its called covering myself..
Can't argue with the logic of that!
What you may well find (you would in my DNO area) is that you only get upgraded to an 80A fuse. I know the books say that 100A is the standard but this is not the case locally - there have been quite a few issues with 100A cutouts with the plastic around the fuse carrier melting yet the fuse has not blown, something to be aware of when considering pulling fuses. Additionally, if you look at the rating on the meter, a lot of them are only rated to 80A so should only have an 80A ocpd.
Good luck with the assessment

Why go to the trouble of adding another cable, which I assume would follow the same route as the other ?.
Why not upgrade it.
