The ideal would be electric vehicle combined with a locally distributed PV or Wind supply - plugs in when parked, takes charge from PV/Wind till full then fills in the gaps for the house supply that can't be met by the PV/Wind - with lots of options to set how much charge is to be left in the vehicle

Nissan clearly have something working, a little googling shows there's plenty out there doing the same thing

Some are slightly more commercialized than others, I doubt however it will be long before such a feature is a tick box option when buying an EV along with metallic paint and a vanity mirror
