Well first of all, i'd like to know if i could get (a) link(s) to any useful resources with helpful beginner tips.
One i found to be a big deal was how when wiring a receptacle(or any other electrical object), you begin with the ground, then the neutral, then the hot wire. That has to be one of the most important tips a beginner could get.
Also, I am canadian and i did some google searches for electrical forums in canada and i came up fairly dry, this message board always came up.
Anyone a canadian here and/or knows a popular canadian website for electricians/beginners?
I do not have a job in electrical, i have been researching it lately and am extremely interested. I had contacted electrical outfits, questioned them on whether or not they hire green hands(beginners) and i got positive responses to that. So any information or tutorials i can soak into my brain would be extremely appreciated!
Thanks!
Also, i would like to add that i have emailed numerous resume's and if anyone has tips that could help me obtain a position with an electrical outfit, it would also be greatly appreciated...I know you can't get me a job, but like i said, any tips to help my chances is better than being left dry.
