i need sensor to measure density of coins

Hi,

Sorry the best I can do off the top of my head is: I guess this probably falls mainly in the place of the electronics lot. It could be an induction /magnetic thing and the density of the coin alters the susceptibility of the magnetic field which is measured.

RS components , Maplin, Franells are supplieres of components and may have some information in their catalogues / online sites.
