I recently moved into a house without lights in the living room. Eventually I want to put some recessed cans in, but for now I'm just trying to get myself settled in. There is one switched outlet in the living room, but it is in the corner of the room so the light isn't very evenly distributed. I was just wondering if there is a product on the market that does something similar to...

- You plug a "transmitter" into a switched receptacle, which you then may or may not plug a lamp into.
- You have several "receiver" devices which plug into other receptacles, to which you then plug in your lamps.
- When you flip the switch to turn on the "transmitter" it transmits a signal to the other "receiver" devices, which then in turn activate the lamps plugged into them.

same advice from me. several makes around. byron do a similar product.

I've seen products like that before, but I'd rather not have to deal with a remote and somehow be able to just use the switch that's on the wall.
