A close colleague of mine is hiring a Distribution & Plant Technician at Reading, Napier Road depot.
Technicians provide the essential link between the team leader and the team's operatives. Distribution & Plant Technicians work as part of a team to keep power flowing safely and efficiently, whether its mobile generators, LV signalling equipment or HV traction power substations. Day to day you’ll work on the nuts, bolts and cables of the entire electrification system making sure that the railway has the power to run the trains, signals and stations.
This is a great role for a fully qualified electrician with plenty of opportunities for further training and career progression. As a bonus, you'd be joining a fantastic department and working alongside some of the best people I know!
Base salary: £40,639
