they can write whatever they want in the 18th, but they still cannot answer a basic question. like .... Who's ate all the pies?

I'm sure I fitted his brother the other dayMan I love the new 18 ed regs....
Murdoch,Well ........... if the IET think they can write bullet proof regs to cover this then let them..........................
Earth rods for multistory flats anyone?
Murdoch,
You know that the IET don't write the regs any more, they are merely the publisher.
They are written by a committee, dominated by manufacturers and others who have a vested interest in changes that mean they can sell more product, training, and books.
Fact.
Yet they are "published" by the IET .............. so they need to be held accountable ....................
The Bible is more coherent than BS 7671
Jointly with BSI, and the IET only have the contract to manage JPEL/64, they lost control when it became a BS...
The choice of the definition of the initials is your decision Murdoch, I wouldn't try and say what they were meant to be!...Is that Bull Shyte?
Putting earth rods everywhere isn't going to make the 18th, it'll be in the 1st Amendment in 2021 so I hear.
I was reading the Professional Electrician on-line rag, the other day, their latest edition. There was a link on the 18th Edition, from a company that sells earth rods etc. They were rubbing their hands about us having to install earth rods everywhere, 'cos its in the forthcoming 18th.
Someone is either gonna have a lot of extra work, or some company gonna have a lot of scrap copper on their hands
The supply authority will never allow multiple earth rods, it will compromise the supply system. The wiring "regs" have no jurisdiction over supply matters.
