new build project template for stage payments

hi all
i know this has been covered stage payments, developer wants me to supply stage payment layout for job i have just tendered & won. £249,000.00 2 phases, looking for anyone who may have a template for this & any advice for the stage payments.
any help would be appreciated

why not divide the cost by the number of months the job will take, then receive monthly stage payments?

It may also be worth using the schedule of works to help you stage your payments. You may have an intense period of work, heavy on labour and materials followed by weeks where you require less labour. It could be useful to weight your payments appropriately to ensure cash flow.
It would also be helpful to you to know if the developer has any stipulations regarding payment, such as retention sums.

thanks for replies, yes will certainly put in certs after final payments, have heavy load to start as part of this a lot of lanlords is ready to close off & they want 60% of this in before we can start the flats.
