evening all.

ive been asked to connect the mains supply and room stat to the new valliant combi boiler. Connections are different to what im used to.

Am I correct that the room stat connects to the RT terminal next to the 230v terminals?

Ive copied and pasted the manual. The diagram is on page 32.

Assuming you have a stat that will operate at 24V yes (most will do 24-230V, check stat instructions).

You don't say what the room stat is and whether you're incorporating a separate programmer (or just using a combi stat). How is it being wired?

Thanks for reply topquark.

I spoke to technical support and they talked me through how to connect. I fitted a honeywell stat 230v. I removed the RT link on the 24v side and looped live terminal to my room stat and back to the 230v RT terminal.

Boiler fired up.

Yes it got me this one, you get no voltage reading on the meter on the 230 stat side and the book doesn’t tell you to link it out
