Hi all you sparkies out there, just found this forum and thought i'd join.
I've recently started a C&G 2365 level 2 at college. Would be interested to hear if anyone has also started this and what you have been told by the course tutors regarding becoming qualified and where the qualification may lead.
Really enjoying the practical work as I feel totally competent with all aspects of it.

Hi again sparks

has anyone carried out the C&G 2365 level 2 and 3, if so what did you do afterwards, we have been told that we need to do the AM2 and look at the NVQ3 in order to get NIC certification. this may be a bit of an issue for me as I am in my mid forties and finding someone to take me on as a trainee in a couple of years time may be quite difficult. would appreciate your comments... Cheers.

In order to get a ECS gold card you would need to do the AM2 and NVQ3 after completing the 2365.
This is nothing at all to do with NICEIC.
If you do not have a gold card then you may find it difficult to get employment as an fully qualified electrician.

Hi I'm currently doing 2365 course ( evening ) as i have a day job, I want advice on what to do after I finish it I would like to know my options ie: is being an apprentice better than doing the level 3 2365 ect
