New mod......

Good to see Paul M is the new mod, he maybe off his rocker, or maybe he is a rocker, but no he can't be he is a mod. So now we have a decent mod, we need some decent mentors,.........well thats me gone then i suppose :confused5:

Howard you are a superstar mate. We need people of your caliber in the T/S and any input you can offer will be very very welcome. I'm trying to get Jay and a couple of other lecturers to jump into this forum. A lot of the "old" members spent too long trying to get this place set up and when it did it was only me keeping it going at the time.

Howard, look at what we (the Mentors) have built up. We are not doing bad but we can do so much better. We have got a great team of trainees that are willing to learn, just look at their photos! A credit to our industry.

It is worth the effort, it is worth logging onto this section after a 14 hour day (just like the other day for me) and reading all the great things theses trainees are doing and what they are going through. We have all been in their shoes when we were training lol. We did not have the internet back then!!!

Howard I've dug my feet in and my back bone is strong. I am not going to let this Trainee Section down. I'm not going to give up on this one. Your input as a Lecturer will be very very very welcome for the Trainees. Regardless if any of the Trainees are on a short course or on a full apprenticeship, we need to give them all the best that we can give.

Via this "private club aka Trainee Section" we can develop and increase the real lives of actual people. You do this every day, We do this on a forum and your guidance is needed.

Howard, are we going to have a round of golf this year? Hope so, but not Oulton Hall.

Tel, I did that as a kid!!! Ok with a 6 iron but my mum and dad was not impressed! Dad had to pay £25 (1986) to get it fixed pmsl. That was about a days wage back then?


Telectrix any time I'm down your way I would love to take you for a 9 hole golf lesson. Lets not hit any glass though? You can teach me the finer points of testing and fault finding. My ears are always pricked up when I can learn something new.
