New Snips

I need some new snips, not really bothered about the cost as there the main tool I use.
If anybody has feedback on different snips, would be much appreciated.

Cheers mate, I'm undecided on what to get. Also I need some new drill bits as I've lost or broke my HSS bits.
Do you have any preferences in HSS bits? I was looking at dewalt bits. I only really need 1 - 7mm. I have or had makita bits at the moment.

I use Dewalt bits, the best I've used TBH. As long as you dont try and make the hole bigger by jigging the bit around as they will snap!!

Last week brought a Redline VDE Notch Cutters 150mm £23.00 from CEF really good and having the notches in for 1.5/2.5 cable makes life a lot easier. Been using them for a few days now and superb!

Len stop being a heavy handed brute!!

For me:

Snips: knipex
Drivers: irazola
Power tools: makita, hilti
Drill bits: irwin for auger and sds, dewalt for hss Bosch for holesaw
Impact pozi bits: Bosch

Thanks very much lads, will more than likely be getting some new snips when I get back home.

I have to say I love my CK combicutter's. With the 1.5 and 2.5 cable notches makes stripping a piece of p***

Honestly mate, you can't go wrong with Knipex, great customer service and superb tools. I tried the tools with notches for stripping cables but never took to them. Kept trying to cut cable too far down and it left a bit.

Well mine have already got a big hole in the middle, there not manufactured that way, just a bit of miss communication.
I don't think I'd take to much to the ones with holes in them as I always use the base of the cutters for cutting, just out of habit.
But I think knipex will definitely be the snips of choice.

Does anyone know any knipex stockists in the dudley area?
Or any nationwide wholesalers that supply them?

Big orange shed has special offer on dewalt bit set £19.99 dont know if tradepoint will get more discount tho

as for snips I got a set of NWS ones and they are doing ok so far
