The installer is your first port of call for any guarantee work as they will guarantee their work for anything from 1 to 5 years and if you are a consumer then you have the sale of goods act on your side. And REAL (or a related insurance organisation) backs up the installers warranty if you pay £35 from memory. However, on top of any installer guarantee, both inverter and panel manufacturers are giving of the order of 5 year warranties. Inverter warranties quite often are extendable at a price and panel warranties also have a performance warranty, typically out to 25 years.
