erm, you cant use the bluetooth on an iDevice like that, but can with an Android

SMA are a joke, still havent released the new display, its been out in Austrailia for a year

I guess the vendors have to weigh up the costs and benefits of developing a proprietary monitor with enough colourful features to generate interest versus developing an app for the plethora of smartphones and tablets most people now own. I own a Sunny Beam which is functional but not very well integrated into anything else apart from the USB interface for uploading raw reports, and it would be great to use my iPhone and iPad instead when within Bluetooth range of the inverter.
