Hello all

I am new to this site and also to the electrical industry. I am working towards my Part P but I have a question.

I have just brought a Kewtech KT65 tester new from ebay and it works great.

On the loop function it has 2 sub settings 1 is for L / PE and the other L- L / L- N

The first I think is the live protective earth test, normal earth fault loop but I am not quite shore what the other setting is for.

Sorry if this is a dump question but as I say I am new to this type of tester and testing

Many Thanks

It's for pscc testing between line / line (tp) & Line / neutral (sp).

As you say L PE is what you use for the EFLI test (Ze & Zs) & will give a pfc result aswel.

I've not got this meter but that's what my trusty Fluke does;)
