New tester

This might sound a daft question but if you buy a new multifunctional tester does it come with 12mths calibration?

Every one I've bought has come with 12 months cert.

They usually come with 12months from the date they left the factory if i remember rightly. My megger mft1730 came with about 10months. I guess it had been on a shelf for 2 months before i bought it

Depends...
you need to check that cal isn`t an `extra`...
like anything these days...verify first before parting with cash....
and if its on top...vector that into the price..

by the way what tester are you thinking of getting yoursen?
