Each to their own and all that. But have you ever tried the ck magma bags or are you commenting simply on the look of them? My boss has a stanley fatmax tote and its OK, does a job but its nothing special it just a bucket really that doesn't allow you to orgainse your stuff...and looks like a cheap 20 quid piece of kit too. Not for me.

to be fair its just on the look of them but then i dont like anything ck lol stanley fat max bag full of bahco tools glowing orange for me

I bought the same kit as you when I started my apprenticeship. Don't expect that bag to last too long. I found it to be quite badly made compared to their tools. I had to replaced it as it fell apart after two months light use. I ended up with the FatMax one I posted the link to on the first page. It may only be a cheap 20 odd quid bucket to you, but it has far outlasted the CK bag and I am much happier with it.

Each to their own and all that...

Thanks Adam_glover18. I did quite a bit of digging before buying the ck case and it seems that your experience of them is similar to the vast majority of users. It seems that if you stuff them full of gear beyond what they're designed for then quite unsurprisingly they can fail. I'll be using it for what it's designed for, as a portable case not as a stuff it to the gunnels storage bagand I'm sure I'll get more than my money's worth out of it.
And you can't fault the layout of the pockets and pouches, I'm already very impressed with it.

I had a CK technicians toolcase, not the current range, it was blue and black probably bought about 5 years ago. All the zips broke on it fairly quickly, it had very little use as it just stayed in the workshop. Another chap at work also had a CK bag around the same era and all his zips broke too. I've now got a Facom tote bag, I bought the smaller one (14") as it's all I need for breakdowns on site with a cupboard in the workshop for everything else. Can't fit a full size hacksaw in it though, so you may want the 20" version if you carry one day to day.
