Stanley 26" metal box.

I've had mine for a few years and it's brilliant, not a mark on it. I've used it as a stool loads of times and I'm not exactly a slim bloke...

Who needs toolboxes, one pair of gloves is all you need

I prefer a box as you can stand on it.
Not only stand on it, you can sit on it, saw on it and it keeps rain and thieves out if you lock it.

I have a Stanley 2000 series, 19'' although they do a larger one. Mine was about a tenner from Halfords, still going strong after about 6 years...

Slightly off topic but have you noticed the british gas engineers lately, yellow and black diagonal striped tape around their toolboxes must be a health and safety thing make sure doesn't trip over tool box lol

I use a Stanley tool chest and a dewalt 16inch open tote

In the bottom of the chest i have 6 dewalt batterys, dewalt charger, 18v combi, 18v sds and 18v torch, the tray has various tools in

open tote has the tools i use all the time along with my dewalt impact driver, no matter what job i attend i have all my tools there

I have various other bits like 18v dewalt saw and 110v chisil gun in the van vault

On a night time all i have to do is wheel the chest out of the van along with the tote and into the house, van vault is secure and they can take anything they like out of the van as theres nothing else really of value

Ive seen quite a few tradesmen who have lots of drill cases to carry about, filling valuble van space along with being a pain in the arse getting tools onto the job

Theres quite a lot off space for tools yea, I have screwdrivers, 5 different pairs off snips and pliers, spanners, claw hammer, tape, head torch, level, pad saw, knifes and stuff, drill bits and hole cutters, ratchet you name it! :) but bigger tools like bolster chissels and hammers are harder to accomidate, saying that i have managed to fit two of the hilti stamps (witch are the same size as bolster chissels in) just got to think where you put stuff :)
