Hey I'm new to this forum (well, to ANY forum haha) and I registered in hopes to gain more knowledge! Also, any women electricians here?? How is it on the field as a woman? What do you ladies specialise in?
Try Sparkychick. . .

I am wondering if maybe there should be a forum section for you girls, kind of like the arms but with a more biological entry requirement.
“The powder room?”

And maybe a 'snug' area where the men folk can smoke their pipes whilst leaning on the mantle piece discussing engines and beards, etc.

Can’t women discuss engines and beards?

I thought that in today’s society everything had to be inclusive... no “men only” or “women only” areas...

?‍♂️?‍♀️

I was carrying on James's blatant sexism :D

Happy to discuss engines both 2 and 4 stroke... beards... the only personal experience I have of beards is their tickling capabilities when you're getting up close to a chap sporting one for a quick smooch, but I do think some men look so good with them.

I'm gonna stop now because if I don't, we'll be talking about Geordie and Irish men and their accents.

Calm down then... calm down lad... (sorry Tel), but no thanks to the Scouse accent. As for Scottish... it can be nice, but it's just not as nice as the Geordie or Irish accent... in my opinion :)

Does that make me racist? What about if I add... "But I like haggis!" :D

Final word on accents, as I think the thread has wavered slightly from the original topic...

There are as many accents in Scotland as there are in England. Some from town to town.
Edinburgh is different to Glasgow is different to way up the north is different to the borders.... and don’t ask about Hawick. They make up their own words (ie “tooty thrie”)
I’ll let you work that out for yourselves
