Hi. My first post.
I can't find information specific to Vaulted ceiling safe zones in the regs.

I've posted a diagram below but not sure what size it will display as.

My question is: For a vaulted ceiling are the sloping sections of wall within 150 mm of the top of the wall and ceiling junction a safe zone?

Many thanks

Yes from me as well. The wording of the regulation is "150mm from the top of the wall"

Personally It's not an area I like to run cables whatever angle of ceiling though. I only install there as a last resort mainly because it's usually more work and repair involved as well as the general lack of awareness of safe zones amongst anyone but those who install cables.

The whole of the space above a ceiling or below a floor is considered a safe zone.
Except where a cable runs through a joist or batten.
Where cables run through joists or battens, the requirement is for the depth to be greater than 50mm, or for there to be an earthed sheath or mechanical protection.
