Hey,
In 2009 I got my City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 17th edition. At the time it was recession and I was in the south west so jobs were scarce and I was not able to secure any work. As a result I never was able to create a portfolio to do the NVQ and AM2.
I want to revisit this now. Other than putting in some sockets and down lights in my own home, I have no work experience whatsoever.
My hope was to get work in Bucks as an electrical improver/electricians mate.
My understanding is to qualify to apply for this kind of role, I will need to do my 18th edition refresh course and get my ECS card PRIOR to job application.
please can someone confirm if I have understood correct and if there is anything else or course I should be taking since my certificates are from 2009.
Thanks
