hi folks hope u's r well, seen a van 2day with niceic domestic installer on it? i was of the understandin that the domestic installer scheme was set up purely for part p which doesnt apply in NI so wats the benefit? i understand the approved contractor has benefits. Is it just so they can put nic logo on van? or am i missin somethin?

oh well you got competition!! im not sure on the ins and outs of NI and NICEIC but yeah probably on scheme to look good.! unless he does work in England

You can register with the NICEIC as a domestic installer in NI although it has nothing to do with part p.

Are Professional electricians fed up with the cowboys out there, especially the ones with NICEIC, Elecsa, Napit, Corgi, etc badges.

Obviously they don't give anyone a badge and especially not just because they are willing to pay money for it.
