Pete ball

Got my nic eic assessment on thursday I'm doing the domestic installer scheme , really really nervous about any advice to settle my nerves would be much appreciated !! Thanks

They will probably ask you about disconnection times and Ze for various earthing arrangements, but the most important thing to remember is 'Safe Isolation'
Good Luck.

Wrong!!! ...The most important thing, is that Your fee check has cleared and now safely in the NIC's bulging coffers!!!

E54 probably has it about right they are interested in being paid and so not interested in failing you.
Stay as calm as possible, make sure beforehand that you have all the paperwork, books and certificates that they want to see, including the installation certificates for the jobs on which you are to be assessed.

If you do not know the answer to the question you can always look it up, so remember where to look up things about the building regs requirements you should be OK on most things so long as you can find it in the books.

They do want you to pass so just keep calm and ask for clarification if you do not understand what they are asking..

Don't be nervous you probably know more than the fella coming out to assess you
if you have any questions write them down and ask on the day
as long as your work complys you have nothing to worry about
