hi guys, iv got my assessment with nic soon as we are going for being approved contactors and im going to be the qs. has anyone got any advice on what jobs are best to use and what sort of questions they are going to be asking me?? im pretty nervous as this has all come about very sudden.....long story! any advice would be great,,many thanks

They`ll ask a couple of questions on regs. Like name 4 special locations. If in domestic explain zones in bathroom. If doing ind/com show them table for sizing main protective bonding conductors when different supply conditions exist(old table 54H in 16th ed.) no regs to hand! Little talk on 5839-1 and 6 and also aware of 5266. Ask you how you can work out Zs on you build if you know other readings. Max trip times for rcds, not forgetting to push the test button on rcd. They like to hear you explain what your doing on each test. Finally when they find something wrong blame the young lad!

I have got my full day periodic assessment next week.

I have done loads of these in the past and know what there all about but any advice on things there specifically looking for at the moment or anything they said that caught you guys out, it would be appreciated.

I've got a new assessor this time so I could do with making a decent impression.
