Thank God for that I though you may be male chicken inclined......... ;o))))

Leave your girlfriends work colleague out of this.... He's mine...
Spoons not fussy about his -----... :tearsofjoy:

To be clear, I work part time and semi retired mode. I was asked by a friend if I had any work for the person in question to up their electrical installation knowledge. So it came out as I occasionally offer work which I think may be of educational value. As much as I like the idea of being able to employ train others I cannot. Just occasional one off really, just not enough in the kitty. As for profit, there is none.

I wasn't aware of your work situation. Now I am I think it's a shame you're not in a position to help more.

Is SparkyChick the Charlie Dimmock of the Electrical Trade?

If you're thinking blonde well endowed in the boob department, I hate to disappoint, but no I'm not. Far from it.

Wouldn't want to be that big up top to be honest, they're a bloody nightmare now, any bigger and they'd probably end up suffocating my respirator when I've got my head in a floor void looking for cables :D

i seen a female plumber in the wholesaler once, the workclothes were far too clean, practically anything i wear to work becomes only for work, especially if working around painters , or with any silicone it usually gets wiped on the trews

dont know how anyone doing any sort of construction job doesnt end up with dirt everywhere, reminds me of the workwear on t.v programmes, phil mitchells car garage seems to have plenty of work but alas the workers boiler suits are brand new out the packet condition

even the tidiest of tradesmen/women should have a bit of silicone on their trews otherwise they raise my suspicion

Maybe she had finally replaced the ones she had been working in.

just goes to show how far we are from equality! Shifting attitudes is the hardest parts. Yes maybe women want to stay at home with friends go shopping whatever due to being brought up with today's attitudes, but maybe having almost no role models and everyone assuming like sparkying is not women's work will put them off from a young age.

Yes, in any industry you get a few people male or female who will always want to go in and be the best, but a young man not sure what he wants to do, will be encouraged to see sparkying as something suitable, but for a young women, people aren't queuing up to recommend it to them. Oh wait, that's exactly what this scheme is.

The shocking figures speak for themselves TBH. No pun intended. not empowering women is everyone's failing.

Sorry for the essay but I didn't see anyone else saying it, hope it's ok with everyone!:p
