Hi guys, I’m setting up my own shop after quitting my job with a company. I’m looking to join the Nic or elecsa... question is what’s the difference?
I only plan doing domestic work and AV installs.
I have all the relevant qualifications, apprenticeship, 18th edition, etc.

Thanks

Nathan

IMO I think it bad timing for you with this virus knocking around some customer might not let you through the door .but good luck .

I was with Elecsa. The only difference if I recall, was Elecsa would let you call yourself an Approved Contractor, whereas I believe NIC wants more dosh for that. So if that label adds something to your business, then Elecsa might be a better option. So bodies and other businesses think only the NIC exists.
